FAQ's

 

Do you buy used instruments?

Yes, we do.  You'll need to bring it in to the store for consideration.  We make offers on a case by case basis and are interested in all types of instruments.  We won't buy used keyboards though - it's too difficult for us to repair them.

Do you repair instruments?

We have qualified repair technicians on staff, who can evaluate your instrument and give you an estimate based on what needs to be done.  We rarely turn away instruments, unless they've been run over by a car or something.  In that case, you may just want to consider replacing it.  We also don't work on instruments that are not instruments, like that purple saxophone you saw on the internet.  We can't make them into instruments and can't guarantee their repair.  We don't repair Keyboards.

Do you have a maintenance program?

When you rent an instrument through us you can opt for Maintenance for the duration of your rental.  It covers all general maintenance and cleaning, and repairs such as dent removal, or pad replacement.  Speak to our technicians about specific problems, as the program doesn't cover things like foreign objects being stuck in the instrument, or creative carvings on the outside of the instrument.

Do you carry sheet music?

We do have a small array of music books, and lesson books for most instruments.  We also have the ability to print the special sheet of music you've been looking for.  We will print it on card stock so it'll last you a good long while.  We won't print Rap though...

Do you carry records, CD's etc?

We only carry CD's and merch from our "Friends of Store" local musicians.  These musicians work hard to get their music out there, and 100% of the sales go back to them.  Please e-mail us if you are a local musician and would like us to carry your CD's and merch.

What if you don't have what I'm looking for?

That's okay!  We can check into it and see when we can get it in.  We do process a lot of Special Orders for our customers.  We will get your name and phone number and call you when it arrives!

Do you sell Gift Certificates?

We sure do! We sell them at our checkout counter.  If you are out of state, call us and we can process it over the phone and mail it wherever you need it to go!

What is your return policy?

We will take returns within 30 days, in the original packaging and with your receipt.  Although we don't take returns on any products containing software.  This is because we don't have the ability to see if the software has been used, and cannot return it to the manufacturers if it's been opened.
